Shuhwikahsha Class to be Held December 13

Join the Cultural Preservation Committee on Saturday, December 13 as we host a Shuhwikahsha (Dee Hoof Leg Rattles) Class taught by Jason Jones. Jason will be sharing the history and how men wore/danced with these instruments, followed by the opportunity to make your own!

This class will be held in the FCS Conference Room. 8 spots are available for Delaware Tribal Members.

Materials will be provided!

The class will be held from 10 A.M. – 5 P.M. with a lunch break at 1 P.M.

The Delaware Tribe of Indians’ 2025 General Council will be held on November 22, 2025 at

Doors will open at 11:00 AM, with Lunch at Noon, and the meeting will start at 1:30 PM. Enrollment services will be available.

Lenape Language Lesson & Dance Practice November 20

Join the Cultural Preservation Committee on November 20 from 6:00 – 8:30 P.M. for a Lenape Language Lesson, followed by social song & dance practice. Dinner will be provided.
