Arkansas River Valley Wildland Fire Academy Heritage Paraprofessional Class- Nominations Due by February 29, 2020
The Arkansas River Valley Fire Academy is now accepting nominations through February, 29, 200 for Classes being held in Russellville, AR from May 12-14, 2020. One of the many classes being offered is a heritage paraprofessional class.
Instructions for completing nominations for the classes can be found below.
There will be a tuition fee, which also includes meals.
- Go to the following link: www.arkansaswildlandfireacademy.com,
- On the home page scroll down for a list of all classes.
- Click on the “NOMINATE” button next to the class (DO NOT use the Course List tab at the top of the home page).
- Find your course and click on the “NOMINATE” button.
- The NWCG Nomination Form will open up.
- Complete Nomination Form.
- Email nomination form to: timothy.nutley@usda.gov
- Acceptance letters will be emailed to students.
- Acceptance letter will contain a hyperlink to complete the registration process.
- Registration will not open until March 8th.
- § Those that will be attending courses as Forest Service AD’s – sponsored by the Ouachita and Ozark-St. Francis National Forest and the Arkansas-Oklahoma Interagency Coordination Center (AOICC) must not register on-line, you must email Sally Cross at: sally.cross@usda.gov to complete registration for you. (This will ensure payment for any costs associated with attending the course and the completion of Casual Hire (AD) paperwork for travel and salary reimbursement).
