Delaware Tribe Signs Onto AAIA Statement
Along with sixteen other organizations and Tribes, the Delaware Tribe of Indians has signed onto a statement urging collectors interested in American Indian art to instead support contemporary American Indian artists and their creations made for the art market. Released by the Association on American Indian Affairs, the statement is intended to provide guidance to collectors and auction-houses, and is supported by the Tribe’s Historic Preservation Office.
